Sorosh Golchin

Sorosh Golchin, born and raised in Georgia, graduated with honors from Georgia State University with a degree in Exercise Science in 2008. He is hoping to be in Medical School by Fall 2012 so that he can start the journey of becoming a sports medicine physician himself.

He has worked in sports medicine and orthopedics since 2008 working in physical therapy and clinically assisting different sports medicine physicians. He started working with Dr. Garten solely in 2009. During that time, Sorosh has worked with the Atlanta Falcons and the former Atlanta Thrashers, aiding with physicals and player rehabilitation. He has also worked with local high schools covering football and performing assessment tests for other sports.

His passion for sports and helping others has driven his desire to pursue a career in medicine. He has had five knee surgeries of his own, and as such, has a superb personal appreciation and attachment to the medical field. On his free time he loves to hang out with good friends and family, watch good movies, beat Dr. Garten in Fantasy Football, exercise, listen to music and, if time permits, take a good solid nap!
